Event description

Description

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." – Nelson Mandela.

As the world today is plagued by inequality, poverty and hatred, education can be a potent instrument for advances in science needed to tackle these current issues.

Aimed at people passionate about effective and inspirational education, this workshop showcases innovative approaches of multimedia and gamification which are becoming increasingly popular for today’s generation. We promote active engagement so participants can improve and innovate their own teaching approaches.

This event will take place in two sessions, the first on multimedia (Monday 26th June 5:00pm-8:00pm) and the second on educational games (Thursday 29th June 5:00pm-8:00pm). During the session on multimedia, we will learn video-making skills, editing skills and social media. On the second session, we will learn how to create educational games that enhances teaching. You are welcomed to join us with hands-on activities at one, or both sessions.
