21.00 Decant to Jeremy Bentham (31 University Street London, WC1E 6JL)
With the economy still struggling, and the Government's next Spending Review rumoured to be moved forward to 2013, the time is now to start planning how we will defend science funding in the UK from its next major threat - which will almost certainly be more serious than in 2010. Our evening's agenda will also include asking for input on how you want to shape this organization and its strategies and priorities. In addition to the formal AGM, we will have a line-up of interesting speakers, entertainers and **free cake**, so it should be a fun evening.
Also, please do join us afterwards at the Jeremy Bentham pub, where there'll be drinks and free food.
All full members of Science is Vital (those who have donated £3.14 or more to the campaign since 13th September 2011) will have voting rights. Others are welcome but will not have a vote.
If you would like to become a member, you can for just £3.14, here: http://scienceisvital.org.uk/join/
