Session 1 – Identifying change Thursday 18 September 2025, 3:45pm – 4:45pm

Join us for an empowering session designed for science leaders designed to
effectively support and address your school's unique needs. Learn how to
identify your individual needs and gain the tools necessary to drive meaningful
change and enhance scientific learning within your school.

Session 2 – Action planning and implementing change Thursday 9 October 2025, 3:45pm – 4:45pm

In this session, we will outline effective strategies for driving essential change in
science education. Learn how to set realistic targets and address potential
barriers while creating a robust action plan. Gain practical insights and tools to
ensure successful implementation and foster a culture of continuous
improvement for science in your school

Session 3 – Planning CPD Thursday 13 November2025, 3:45pm – 4:45pm

Explore what it is to develop an effective science staff meeting based on your
identified actions. This session is designed to support you in designing CPD
tailored to the specific needs of your school.

Between sessions 3 and 4

A science specialist from White Rose will work with you 1:1 to support you in
creating the CPD that you will be delivering in your school.

Session 4 – Monitoring and driving forward Thursday 22 January 2026, 3:45pm – 4:45pm

In our final session, evaluate the impact of your staff meeting and identify the
next steps in the improvement cycle. Explore methods to continuously enhance
the teaching and learning of science through a cycle of effective leadership and
learn how to drive and sustain ongoing change for science in your setting.
