Magda Osman is Senior Lecturer in Experimental Cognitive Psychology at Queen Mary University of London and leads the Dynamic Learning & Decision Making Laboratory, which addresses such questions as: How to make decisions in order to plan for the future? How do we make decisions under dynamic uncertainty? and Do we really make decisions unconsciously? She is author of three books including Controlling Uncertainty: Decision Making and Learning in Complex Worlds, which reviews and discusses the most current research relating to the ways we can control the uncertain world around us.
