Event description

Description

‘Science with CubeSats’ is a Royal Astronomical Society Specialist Discussion Meeting.

The aim of the meeting is to explore the potential of the CubeSat (and other small satellites) as a credible platform to support serious science investigations in the areas of astronomy, geophysics, space science and the planetary sciences, and to hear more about the current and proposed missions that aim to do that.

Call for speaker and poster abstracts: The organisers are requesting abstracts for this meeting and welcome contributions from those wishing to share their research and ideas on past, current and future science investigations that will utilise the CubeSat as a platform. If you wish to present your work then please register here, and then email the meeting organisers by 31/01/2017 with the talk/poster title and a short abstract describing your intended topic. There is normally no funding available to cover travel costs and the RAS charges a registration fee on the day of £15 (£5 for students) for non-Fellows.
