Join us as we welcome Professor David Manlove, a distinguished Professor of Algorithms and Complexity at the School of Computing Science in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Glasgow. Professor Manlove recently launched the groundbreaking KEPsoft Collaborative CIC platform with his team, a new not-for-profit spun-out from the University of Glasgow.

KEPsoft is focused on maximising their social impact on those suffering from kidney disease, using innovative software to find more matches between kidney donors and recipients.

During this event, David will share his experiences as an entrepreneurial academic, taking us through his journey at the university to incorporating as a social enterprise and creating KEPsoft. Following his presentation, David will be joined by Dr Morven Fraser-Walther, IP & Commercialisation Manager at the University of Glasgow, for an engaging fireside chat and brief presentation on the basics of social enterprises and the support that is on offer from the IP&C team. The event will also feature an open Q&A session, giving you the chance to ask any questions you may have for the team.
