Event description

Description

Pancreatic and renal disease are two of the most common acute and chronic medical conditions faced in small animal practice. Rapid diagnosis, assessment and aggressive therapy is required in cases of acute pancreatitis and acute kidney injury.

Chronic disease requires careful attention to accurate diagnosis along with formulating an appropriate management and monitoring plan in order to maximise quality of life and longevity.

This day course aims to review the challenges of diagnosis of acute, chronic and subclinical disease, therapeautic strategies and appropriate monitoring of cats and dogs with disease affecting the pancreas and kidneys.
