A step-by-step masterclass for Scope 2 dual reporting
After years of debate around reporting the benefits of purchased renewable energy, the World Resource Institute (WRI) launched their scope 2 guidance, inviting organisations to integrate this approach into their reporting. For many organisations, 2016 will be the first reporting year for which they will make this dual disclosure.
If you are new to scope 2 dual reporting and haven’t quite kept up with the guidance – or have had a trial run and got your ‘REGOs’ and ‘residual mixes’ muddled, then our masterclass is for you and will provide you with a step-by-step guide to getting it right.
Key benefits you will gain from attending the masterclass:
- Understand how scope 2 reporting can benefit your organisation's carbon emissions profile and CDP score
- Learn about the conversion factors hierarchy and what evidence you should be looking for
- Enjoy step-by-step examples of how to get it right
Carbon Smart regularly guides clients through the pitfalls of scope 2 reporting – from how to understand the conversion factor hierarchy, through to who to ask for the data and how to tell if that data is good enough.
The FREE workshop will be run by Julie Craig, Carbon Smart’s reporting lead and architect of the conversion factor transformation for Defra.
Join our team of experts on Thursday 3rd November from 08:30 to 10:30 at Steelcase. Light breakfast will be provided from 08:00 am.
Attendance to this event is by registration only.*
*This event is not open for other consultants or competitors of Carbon Smart.
