Scorecards in Action: Biodiversity is an informal knowledge-sharing event for Council Officers and Councillors. Attendance at the event will be useful for officers working in all council departments and not specifically those working in sustainability. The Scorecards cover a range of council activity and are useful to new and experienced staff alike. Campaigners and residents are also welcome to attend. At this event, we will explore the Biodiversity section of the Scorecards, including insights into the trends observed across the UK as well as examples of best practice.
This session will include:
- An overview of Biodiversity
- Presentations from guest speakers - details will be updated soon
- Breakout room discussions
Climate Emergency UK, along with the help of over 200 volunteers, created the Council Climate Action Scorecards to measure climate action from all UK councils. Over 76% of UK councils contributed to refining the results through their participation in the Right of Reply. The Zoom link for the session will be sent to you in an email when you register for the event.
