About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 15 minutes

Scorecards in Action: Planning and Land Use is an informal knowledge-sharing event for Council Officers and Councillors. Attendance at the event will be useful for officers working in all council departments and not specifically those working in sustainability. The Scorecards cover a range of council activity and are useful to new and experienced staff alike. Councillors are also welcome to attend.

At this event, we will explore the Planning and Land Use section of the Scorecards, including insights into the trends observed across the UK as well as examples of best practice.

This session will include:

  • An overview of Planning and Land Use
  • Presentation from Susanna Dart, Principal Climate Policy Officer at Lancaster City Council
  • Presentation from Councillor Richard Clewer from Wiltshire Council
  • Breakout room discussions

Climate Emergency UK, along with the help of over 200 volunteers, created the Council Climate Action Scorecards to measure climate action from all UK councils. Over 76% of UK councils contributed to refining the results through their participation in the Right of Reply.

The Zoom link for the session will be sent to you in an email when you register for the event.
