Plenary sessions

Get set, Connect, Go global panel discussion

Why export? Our panel of experienced exporters will share their views and experiences of exporting and why international trade has been a priority and significant factor in the success of their business. The panel represents a range of sectors, covering the exporting of goods and services.

Global outlook and what it means for your business

With every challenge there is opportunity. Change is a constant in our geopolitical landscape, but beyond the noise of Brexit there continues to be real opportunity for Scottish businesses to grow internationally. This panel session will discuss key issues, look ahead and highlight some of the opportunity areas for Scottish exporters.

My exporting journey

Join Alison McRae as she takes to the stage with the managing directors of two successful Scottish exporters, Global Voices and Collins Debden. Global Voices, established 15 years ago, is exporting translation services and Collins Debden, with Scottish roots dating 200 years, is selling products including the iconic Collins diary. The companies are very different, but with similar challenges and exporting successes to share.
