Yes, it's back! Scotgovcamp returns to its spiritual home at Informatics this autumn. Hurrah!
OK, that sounds super, but what's a 'govcamp'?
If you're new to govcamps, here's the skinny...
Govcamps have no pre-set agenda - attendees create the agenda on the day. They have a very active online element. And they are relentlessly positive, constructive and creative.
The general aim is to get folk who are interested in innovation and technology in government (and the public sector more widely) together in an informal setting to share their ideas.
Well, that sounds like a grand way to spend a Saturday in September, count me in!
Great! Tickets are limited and will go quickly, so don't delay signing up. If you don't get a ticket initially, we'll put you on the waiting list.
Cool, I've signed up, how can I follow discussions in the run up to the event?
Further info and discussion will appear on:
- the Scottish Public Sector Digital Group blog
- and Knowledge Hub group
- and we'll be Twittering on the #scotgc13 hashtag
We'll be looking to get a head start on suggestions for sessions - so keep any eye out for our call for ideas.
And can I help out?
Yes, of course! If you're interested in helping Scotgovcamp happen - whether by doing something practical, or giving us a bit of money for sandwiches and such like - please get in touch!
