Join us over Zoom to learn how to use your Android tablet or phone to access websites and online resources.

We will cover:

  • Exploring the home screen
  • Device controls
  • Using Google Chrome for web browsing
  • Saving useful websites as icons
  • Autofill and bookmarking
  • Taking screenshots
  • Scanning and uploading documents

The workshop is held online via Zoom with an experienced Apple trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team.

Please note:

  • This workshop is offered thanks to funding from the Scottish government and is intended for parents and carers who are living in Scotland.
  • This is a friendly and informal workshop for parents and carers raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young person.
  • You’ll need to have an Android tablet or phone to take part in the workshop activities.
  • To keep your Android device free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
