Scotland Food & Drink is currently working hard on their new 2030 industry strategy. As an industry body working in partnership with government and its agencies, it’s their job to drive the development of the new strategy for the whole industry. This crucial work will determine future focus and investment in the sector – so getting it right is critical and that’s where we need key players in the food and drink sector to help really shape the plan.
Since May this year, we’ve undertaken a huge amount of work, reviewing our successes to date and assessing our industry as it currently stands. Now, we’re in the midst an extensive research phase, looking into growth opportunities and looking internationally to understand global trends and analyse our competitors. This is where we need your help – we need to hear what your plans, ambitions and concerns for the future are. And it’s not just about the long-term, it is also about identifying areas where we can act now.
Along with Highlands and Islands Enterprise, we would like to invite you to join us to hear about our research to date and actively contribute to the new strategy. Your thoughts and ambition for the future are invaluable to us and so we’re really hoping you can attend. We’d be delighted if you could find time to support us with creating the roadmap for the industry for the next 10-15 years.
