The Scotland North Parkinson’s UK Excellence Network will be hosting its next meeting on Tuesday 17 June. This event will provide the opportunity to network and learn, bringing together health and social care professionals working or with an interest in Parkinson's, to help improve Parkinson's services across the north of Scotland.

The event will be held in two locations - Aberdeen and Inverness. We aim to join the two venues via virtual meeting facilities, as well as offer the chance for people to join online via Microsoft Teams.

For anyone joining the event in person, please bring your lunch from 1pm and join us for tea, coffee and chat, ready for a 1.30pm start.

The meeting will involve a mixture of presentations and discussions, as well as the chance to generally network with other attendees.

The formal agenda will follow, however, topics of discussion to include:

Key note speaker: Dr Diane Swallow, Consultant Neurologist NHS Grampian speaking on Parkinson's Plus syndromes
Experiences of Produodopa from both a Parkinson's nurse and person with Parkinson's Perspectives
Experiences of mental health and updates on developments in Aberdeen /Aberdeenshire and Highland
Update on developments in the Excellence Network learning pathways

Parking: Limited payable on-site parking is available.

Rail: Inverness Train Station is around 2.7 miles from the venue.
