For parent/carers of children with additional needs - How to manage your stress and improve your wellbeing
Online
Stress can be a huge factor for families. Although most Covid-19 restrictions have now been lifted, many families may still be concerned about their vulnerable children or other family members. What causes you stress and how do you cope with it at present?
This online workshop gives the opportunity to hear other parents' experiences, learn new strategies and share as much or as little of your story as you wish. We will explore ways of reducing your stress by improving the areas that could help you feel more positive and able to get the most out of life.
• Understand what stress is & how it affects you.
• Learn about coping mechanisms and each other’s coping styles.
• Identify new ways of coping with stress & reducing your stress levels.
• Be motivated to try new stress busting ideas until you find ones that fit with you!
• Improve your Wellbeing.
This workshop will be held on Zoom. We can give advice on how to install and use Zoom before the workshop is held, if you require this. If you prefer to not be visible or audible on screen that is fine by us.
