Description

National Records of Scotland (NRS) would like to invite you to participate in a focus group on the terminology used in the ethnic group question in Scotland's Census.


This focus groups is for participants who might identify as 'Caribbean or Black' in the ethnic group question below (based on the 2011 Census question).


What is your ethnic group?

> White (Including Scottish, Other British, Irish, Gypsy/Traveller, Polish and other white ethnic groups)

> Mixed or multiple ethnic groups (Including any mixed or multiple ethnic groups)

> Asian, Asian Scottish or Asian British (Including Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi. Chinese and other Asian ethnic groups)

> African (Including African, African Scottish, African British and other African ethnic groups)

> Caribbean or Black (Including Caribbean, Caribbean Scottish, Caribbean British, Black, Black Scottish, Black British and other Caribbean or Black ethnic groups)

> Other ethnic group (Including Arab and any other ethnic groups)
