Come along to enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the beautiful surroundings of Maggie’s Highlands and discover a handpicked selection of Fairtrade and speciality wines. We’ll also have a variety of delicious snacks to pair with each wine, making it the perfect setting for an informal, enjoyable evening.

• Learn the Basics of Wine Tasting: We’ll guide you through the simple but essential steps of tasting wine, from how to look, smell, and taste it to understanding what makes each wine unique.
• Explore Wine Pairings: We’ll share tips on how different food flavours (like sweet, umami, or rich dishes) interact with various wine styles, helping you get the most out of every sip.
• Wine Storage and Serving Tips: Get practical advice on how to store, serve, and enjoy different wines, so you can enjoy them at their very best.

Whether you’re new to wine or looking to learn more, this relaxed and enjoyable tasting experience is for everyone. We look forward to welcoming you!

Organized by

Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends, following the ideas about cancer care originally laid out by Maggie Keswick Jencks.

Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie's centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need.

Our centres are places to find practical advice about benefits and eating well; places where qualified experts provide emotional support; places to meet other people; places where you can simply sit quietly with a cup of tea.

The first Maggie’s opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and since then Maggie’s has continued to grow, with 26 centres at major NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad.
