Description

Integration with other modes and Mobility as a Service

The Scottish Bike Share Forum led by CoMoUK looks to work with local authorities and community groups who are interested in developing existing, or setting up new, bike share schemes. The forum advises on all models and shares knowledge and experience from different organisations from Scotland, England and overseas. The benefits to being part of the forum are many and varied.

CoMoUK strongly believes that by working collectively we can maximise the benefits to communities of bike share by introducing new people to cycling, as well as supporting the government active travel and social inclusion policy objectives.

Our fourth Scottish Bike Share Forum will cover the topic of integration in terms of the use of smart cards and also how bike share can fit within Mobility as a Service (MaaS). On arrival there will be tea, coffee and a light buffet lunch will be served at 12.30pm.

We are excited to announce that the speakers will include;

  • Matt McNulty from Serco speaking on the practicalities and barriers of integration with smart card ticketing in Scotland.
  • Ally McInroy from MaaS Scotland speaking on what MaaS is and how it can integrate different modes with bike share.
  • Peter McGregor and Juliet Bell from Transport Scotland speaking on the Traveline Scotland Integrator Project.

After the speakers we will welcome a lively discussion on the integration of bike share and how it can fit with MaaS.

Event registration is free. If you have any questions, please contact allie@como.org.uk.
