Join the Scottish History Society for our annual presidential lecture and AGM. Professor Roger Mason will be delivering the fourth part of his lecture series 'Inventing the Scots', exploring the fashioning of Scottish identity. This lecture, titled 'Mapping the Nation', will discuss how Scots described and visualised the land of Scotland between 1400 and 1700. There will also be papers by recent editors of Scottish History Society publications. Attendance is free. A simple lunch will be provided in the McMillan Room, Old Medical School.
