Scottish Learning Festival - Satellite Event - Glasgow

The Scottish Learning Festival aims to inspire people who work in education, showcase interesting practice, contribute to educational practice and thought and connect with other educators. This year is the first time we are running a hybrid event. This means we will have an online seminar programme running over the 21 and 22 September which people can register to join by clicking here and we will have physical events taking place around Scotland and you can sign up here on Eventbrite. As well as our two fabulous speaking sessions, attendees will also be able to grab a refreshment, connect with colleagues and wander around our wonderful learner showcase. Through this showcase you’ll be able to explore the interesting work happening in learning settings around the West region.

The event will begin at 3:30pm with refreshments and the showcase, followed by the first speaker at 4:50pm. There will be a short comfort break before the second speaker begins at 6:10pm. The whole event will be finished by approximately 7:30pm.

Please note, there will be event photography taking place throughout the venue. If this causes concern please speak to the staff members wearing high-vis vests when you arrive.

Target Audience - Please be aware that the target audience for this event is for professionals within the Education Sector. Please make sure you register with a valid and correct email address as this is where we will send follow-up information. It is also worth checking that our emails do not land in your junk or spam folder.

Ticket Allocation - The Satellite booking numbers are limited by the venue capacity, which is different for each event. As such it is important that you bring your ticket with you when accessing the satellite venue. It is not possible to transfer your booking to anyone else. If you are unable to attend please cancel your booking to free up a space for another participant to attend.
