    Learn about domestic abuse and the importance of online safety, the benefits of safety planning and exploring various online risks

    About this event

    This workshop will be held face to face only at Grimsby Town Hall and will be facilitated by Women's Aid. Learning outcomes are as follows:

    By the end of the session participants will have:

    • An understanding of the importance of on-line safety
    • Learned the benefits and importance of safety planning
    • An understanding of the link between abuse and on-line risks
    • Explored varying on-line risks, including;
    • Internet browsers inc search engines and toolbars
    • Social Media (inc Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat)
    • Computers & Emails
    • Mobile Phones
    • GPS, Google Earth, Bluetooth, etc.
    • Trackers and items that can be purchased by perpetrators
    • An understanding of on-line support and resources
