    About this event

    This workshop will be facilitated by Women's Aid and Early Help, North East Lincolnshire Council and will be held face to face at Grimsby Town Hall.

    Learning outcomes for the workshop are as follows:

    By the end of this session participants will have:

    • A greater understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on children and young people
    • Explored how, as practitioners to elicit disclosures and respond effectively and safely to disclosures
    • A greater understanding of how trauma can impact on children and young people throughout their lives
    • An awareness of children's coping mechanisms and roles they take on
