PLEASE NOTE - the age range for this workshop is strictly 5 - 11 years, please do not bring younger children as they will not be able to take part. Adults stay and work with their children, helping them with tools and tricky bits but adults do not need to be booked on. Also these workshops are free and only for children from Calverley, Farsley, Farnley, Wortley and Pudsey (postcodes LS12, LS13, LS28).
Come and join us at the amazing Scrap Centre of Reuse, Play and Learning in Sunnybank Mills for creative workshops with a focus on recycling and reusing scrap materials to make or build, tinker and play, use real tools and learn new skills.
This workshop will be led by Jen Sharp of Stitch-Up https://www.facebook.com/Stitchupleeds/ so expect knotting, pom poms, weaving and experimenting with bits of scrap to make wonderful wall hangings!
What do I need to bring?
You'll need a BreezeCard which is the LeedsCard for children and young people, it's free and you can pick up at your local library or leisure centre, or book online here http://www.breezeleeds.org/AboutBreeze/Pages/Breezecard.aspx - but we will also have a stock of BreezeCards to give out too (once you've filled in the form).
Parents stay and join in, or with older children when their child is settled they can sneak off and sit in our cafe area and have a nice cuppa.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Give us a call on 0750374950 or email email@example.com
Do I need to book my place as an adult?
Please don't, the booking system is just for children's places and you will take one from a child if you do!
What happens if I can't come along after booking?
Please don't just not turn up, please return to Eventbrite and release your place(s) for other children to have.
