Following the APS event on Sales Talent Acquisition and Retention by Global Talent Acquisition Leader for Cisco, Kevin Blair, member discussions moved in the direction of the value of Performance Appraisals.
In this interactive session, Mark Rogers, Managing Director at Accenture and Liz Baran VP Human Resources at McAfee will be discussing the impact of performance appraisals in both Accenture and McAfee. The models that they have experienced and the value of these, as well as the new thinking in this area and how the new ways of appraising sales resource has evolved.
Delegates will be able to see active case studies from practitioners implementing new thinking and the challenges and opportunities this presents, the opportunity will also be available to share thinking amongst other delegates who will have their own thoughts, challenges and solutions to these issues.
Liz has spent 30 years in corporate life as Head of HR for EMEA in a number of high profile companies including GE, Informix, Documentum/EMC, Juniper and McAfee/Intel. She had led a number of acquisitions within these organisation as well as managed multi-national HR teams across EMEA supporting companies during growth, turnaround, M&A, integration, restructuring and setting up in emerging markets. She is currently Chair of the IT industry HR Directors Forum.
Mark has worked exclusively with communications, media and technology clients and has been with Accenture for 14 years. Previously, Mark worked for BT and Vodafone on various front-office transformations and after spending 6 months working in Helsinki for Nokia, got the bug for international business. The next 6 years of Mark’s career was in the United States working with our High Tech clients such as Microsoft, Cisco and Symantec. Here he developed a deeper appreciation of sales, marketing and customer service transformation in both a B2C and B2B context.
