Screen Printing Workshop with Ministry of Craft

Always fancied a go at screen-printing but never knew where to start? Assisted by print designer Nell Smith, come and print a design onto a tote bag.
Using one of our geometric stencils, learn step-by-step the process of combining colours and producing a perfect print.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for those looking to refresh their skills.
Nell is an award-winning designer producing fresh, modern prints and embroideries from her studio at the Manchester Craft and Design Centre, Northern Quarter. Since graduating from a Masters in Textiles in 2008, Nell has developed products including garments, accessories and homewares. Her range of organic babywear, decorated with retro-inspired animal prints, has become a firm favourite with customers.
Ministry of Craft has been teaching Manchester to sew and craft since 2008.
With locations in crafters’ paradise Fred Aldous in Manchester’s Northern Quarter and The Edge in Chorlton, the Ministry tutors teach a huge variety of fun, friendly and sociable workshops for all tastes and abilities.
