Event description

Description

This award-winning documentary explores the horrifying medical crimes of Forced Live Organ Harvesting of prisoners of conscience in China, which is state-sanctioned, and that is sadly continuing today, as well as the implications of this for the UK. The aim of the event is to shed light on this egregious attack on human rights with the screening of this film followed by a Q&A with our distinguished guests:

  • Dr Enver Tothi- Founder of the Uighur Cultural Association. Dr Tohti is a Uighur refugee and former surgeon at the Railway Central Hospital in Urumchi, China from 1985-1997. He is the first surgeon to admit to personally performing live organ harvesting in China.

  • Dr Alex Chen M.D., M.ScPresident of the European Federation of Taiwan Health Alliance (EFTHA). Assistant Secretary General at Asian Health Literacy Association (AHLA). UK Representative for Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH).

  • Ethan Gutman– International investigative journalist and author of "The Slaughter: Mass Killings, Organ Harvesting, and China's Secret Solution to Its Dissident Problem" (Sept 2014). Recently nominated for the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize
