About this event
Between 1969 and 1999 over a thousand people died in police custody in England. Not one police officer has ever been convicted for any of these deaths.
INJUSTICE (98 min), a documentary by Ken Fero and Tariq Mehmood, follows the struggles for justice by the families of some of those who have died in police custody. Since its launch in 2001, after seven years in production, the film has been screened in UK cinemas and many international film festivals but was never broadcast on a British TV channel. You can learn more about the film and the people featured in it on Injustice's website.
