Screening: The Man with Night Sweats at Kingsgate Project Space
Wednesday 23 August 2017 from 7:00pm
Join us for an evening of experimental short films continuing the themes of the recent exhibition ‘The Man with Night Sweats’, inspired by the energy generated within the burgeoning gay/queer cultures that emerged out of the changing political and social landscapes of the 1960s and 70s.
These works explore film as a space for performance, collaboration, protest and play - reaching beyond, or re-imagining the immediate reality.

Kingsgate Project Space works with artists and curators to create a public programme that is interested in risk, experimentaion and conversation. Central to this, is an ongoing series of studio residencies offered to artists at key stages in their career which supports research, critical discourse and production.
