What if the news was interrupted by an alien invasion in Sutton? Reports of aliens landing – would you believe it?
In 1938 the Orson Welles adaptation of War of the Worlds by HG Wells was so real people believed it, we’re going to imagine what would happen if Sutton was taken over by aliens! We’re writing a sci fi comedy for online podcast, and be a fly on the wall of the alien invasion. What if a space ship crash landed in Carshalton ponds or people were abducted from Times Square – would anyone even notice?
Come along to write the script and record a radio sketch show that is beyond belief!

Participants will also have the opportunity to visit a local recording studio, and bring their words to life. The final work will be broadcast across multiple sites in the London borough of Sutton between 15-30th October.
