Whalley Abbey is a beautiful venue, surrounded by stunning grounds it's a perfect place to lock yourself away and concentrate on your writing.
Scriptwriting North offers you the chance to attend table reads, where you'll get feedback on writing and ideas. There are bookable 1-2-1's available all weekend so you can talk through any areas you need assistance with.
You'll be surrounded by writers and an creative energy.
There is plenty of time for writing and you'll have you own space to really focus on your work.

Booking
To secure your place we require a £50 deposit and payment in full is no later 24th November 2017
Reserve your place through eventbrite and we will arrange payment of your deposit / booking in full by bank transfer, cheque or paypal.
** Please note deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation - you will receive a refund of your payment as follows; Less than 8 weeks 50%, less than 4 weeks -75%, less than 2 weeks 0%**

Writing can be a lonely endevour and our sessions are designed not only to offer you inspiration, practical approaches and to break down the theory but we offer a space for writers to come together to be motivated, challenged and importantly to share ideas and to laugh.
Whether you're looking to write for the big screen, to build a portfolio of work or just for fun, the sessions will work for you.
Courses take place in Manchester City Centre and through Webinar sessions.
The programmes range from 6 week introductory evening courses, 1 day intensive workshops, ongoing weekly writing groups, a script reading service. and bespoke 1-2-1 online sessions.
