SCSBRA Lightweight Sporting Rifle Open Meeting at Carshalton Rifle Club (address to be advised after application). It is open to all LSR and Air Rifle shooters, including Sporter rifles, using telescopic, diopter or iron sights. It is a small and friendly meeting, ideal for those new to shoulder to shoulder competition, including those who have never shot at 20 yards before.

St Marks Cup - for the title of Surrey LSR Open Champion - This is a 60 shot precision match, shot standing at 20 yards. All competitors will shoot two details of 30 shots. 5 minutes is allowed for unlimited sighters then three sets of 10 shots with a limit of 10 minutes for each set of 10 shots.

Entry is open to all, not limited to Surrey residents.

Competitors who have never shot at 20 yards and who therefore do not have an average will shoot an additional five shots within 2 minutes after their sighters to enable the organisers to allocate them to a Class and assist in choosing a suitable 'Start' figure for the Queen Elizabeth competitions.

All competitors will be entered automatically to the Queen Elizabeth Trophy (individual) and Shield (Club teams of three) which are 'Name your own Start' competitions. They are designed to be fun and to level the playing field between more and less accomplished shooters. There is no need to prepare for them.

Scores for cards 5 to 12 of the St Marks Cup will be used for those two competions. Individuals will choose their own start figure and Clubs will nominate team members on the day, before the individual shoots their cards. Details of the way the two competitions operate will be advised on the day.

Under NSRA rules for LSR competitions no specialist clothing is permitted other than a shooting glove. The maximum weight of the rifle, including a glove if worn, must not exceed 4.5kg. Air Rifle stands are not permitted.

Parking, Refreshments, Details, Air Refills and Pellets:

There is limited parking at the club on the day so competitors are advised to park on the road leading to the club. Tea and coffee will be available.

There are 6 shooting lanes and each competitor participates in 2 details. Details are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Air refills and pellets will be available at the Club but air rifle shooters MUST bring their own adaptors.

How to enter: The entry cost is £8.50 (which is for all three competitions). The entry cost for Juniors (aged under 21 on the day of the competition) is £4.25. To claim a Junior discout put JUN as the discount code when booking an entry. At present you cannot book a mix of adults and juniors at the same time, so you have to make two separate applications. Sorry! Click the TICKETS button to register and pay online. Spectators are free.

Prizes: A Trophy will be presented to the Competition winners. Medals will be awarded to seniors in each class proportionate to entries received. The leading Junior will receive a medal. Presentations will take place at the County Dinner.
