Join BG Sculpture Studio for an immersive evening of clay modelling designed to spark creativity, build foundational skills, and connect through the timeless art of sculpture.

Led by artist-educator Beate, this drop-in workshop welcomes adult learners, art students, and curious beginners to explore classical techniques in a supportive, hands-on environment. Inspired by the legacy of Michelangelo, Bernini, and Rodin, participants will learn to observe, measure, and model three-dimensional form using accessible materials and guided instruction.

• Learn to measure and transfer proportions in 3D using sculptural references

• Begin clay application

• Explore modelling techniques: blocking forms, layering detail, working in planes

• Learn safety basics

• Share your experience and sculptural outcomes with the group

Materials Provided:

• Air-dry stoneware clay

• Wooden bases and sculpting tools

• Measuring tools: calipers and rulers

• Reference images and small sculptures

• Tea/snacks available at the venue bar

What You’ll Gain:
