The Chiswick Calendar in collaboration with Fuller's Griffin Brewery is holding a ceramics and sculpture exhibition in the 'Tun Room' within the brewery shop.
A 'tun mash' is the huge barrel shaped contrainer used for mixing the indgredients together as part of the brewing process. The room, made to look like a tun, with curved dark wood walls like the inside of a barrel, is the perfect setting for the earthy textures of ceramics and sculptures made from porcelain and clay and abandoned bits of wood and steel.
Come and meet the artists and see their work on the opening day of the show.
Madeleine Marsh and Caroline Winn will be showing artwork made from the bits and pieces they finds mudlarking on the shore of the River Thames, while Roz Wallis will be bringing her moon jars, and Gillian Brett her portrait sculptures.
The brewery's Growler bar will be open to buy drinks and snacks will be provided. The art is for sale.
