Sculpture in the City 14th edition Tour: A Walk to Mark the Turning of the LightLed by SITC In Loving Memory Artist, Oliver BraggFor the Autumn Solstice, Sculpture in the City In Loving Memory Artist, Oliver Bragg will lead a tour to mark the turning of the light.There will be walking. There will be sitting. There will be remembering. There will be forgetting.Date &amp; Time: Monday 22 September, 6.00pm-7.30pm (the autumn equinox in London is at 7:19 pm)Duration: 90 minutes.Starting location: Saint Botolph-without-Bishopsgate Churchyard, EC2M 3TKey Information:· You are solely responsible for your own safety during the event.· Please wear sensible footwear and bring weather appropriate items e.g. umbrella, water bottle etc.· In participating in this tour, you agree to being filmed and photographed. He maps an askew view of the world that teeters between the banal and fantastic, reality and fiction and the natural and manmade. Ideas often sit between the everyday and fantastical alternative universes that have their own aesthetic or abstract logic. He enjoys playful ideation and is looking for a glimpse of magic or something that may work if things were slightly rearranged or rethought. Bragg has exhibited throughout the UK and internationally. He was awarded the ARTE/Cutlog prize, France in 2012 for the originality and pertinence of work, evolution potential and the coherence of creation.
