The best way to reach us is by public transport. The bus 55 and 56 stops right outside Lea Valley Ice Rink (E10 7QL). The closest station is Lea Bridge with Clapton overground a short walk away.

PLEASE NOTE The event takes place on the open marshes, and access is via a natural non tarmacked path. There is no provision of toilets or drinks and food on site. Please use Lee Valley Ice Centre, Lee Valley Riding Centre or Springfield Café as the nearest facilities.

WHAT IS THE REASON FOR A SCYTHING WORKSHOP ON THE MARSHES

This annual event is organised by Kathrin Böhm from Myvillages and Ida Fabrizio to reconnect with the marshes’ agricultural and common land history and nature. Together with the Lee Valley South Marshes Rangers.
