SDS Forth Valley's 'Know Your Options' [Online]

We are pleased to inform you about an upcoming training session on Self-Directed Support (SDS) delivered by SDS Forth Valley. SDS is the mechanism for delivering personal and social care in Scotland, providing individuals with choices and control over their care. Despite its implementation since 2014, awareness of SDS remains limited.

The "Know Your Options" session aims to educate carers, family members, individuals with long-term health conditions or disabilities, members of the public, and professionals, on the SDS process. This introductory session will cover the Person Pathway, from initial contact with social work to the delivery of care, ensuring you are well-informed and empowering you to support others effectively.
