Description
SDS National Voice 2019 is an event that will promote and showcase good Self-directed Support practice all over Scotland. This year the theme is 'Local Stories' as we aim to highlight how SDS is being implemented in a range of local areas.
We are delighted that Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport, Jeane Freeman MSP, will open the event, further programme details will be announced in due course.
The event is aimed at people involved in SDS at all levels who want to influence the delivery of health and social care. In attendance will be a number of organisations at the centre of SDS development including:Scottish Government, Local Authorities, DPOs and SDSS Membership organisations.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
This event is fully accessible, there will be a number of Personal Assistants available at the venue, as well as BSL interpreters.
