KRAG are pleased to host the South East Amphibian and Reptile Groups meeting for 2025.
An exciting day of talks and activities relating to amphibian and reptile conservation in the south-east region (please see agenda), with the chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
We are aiming to make this meeting as inclusive and diverse as possible and particularly encourage participation from the ‘Next Generation’ of amphibian and reptile conservationists. We therefore invite under 25s and students to present a 5-minute ‘speedtalk’. Please send a brief title of your speedtalk or poster to R.A.Griffiths@kent.ac.uk to consider for inclusion in the programme by 26th September.
Through generous sponsorship by the ARGs and the UKRI E3 project at the University of Kent, we are heavily subsidising registration costs, which include refreshments and a light vegetarian lunch.
Please click on 'details' to book tickets. Directions can be found here, and the parking is free.
Deadline for registration is Saturday 4th October.
For any delegates wishing to arrive by the afternoon of Friday17th October there will be an opportunity to visit the field site on the University of Kent campus where the colonisation of ponds by newts has been intensively monitored for over 25 years.
We look forward to seeing you!
