Event description
Sea Medicine is a five day personal transformation course based on the concept of Blue Space.

About this event

Proximity to water – especially the sea – is associated with many positive measures of physical and mental wellbeing, from higher levels of vitamin D to improved social relations.

It is no surprise that those spending time in coastal areas are reported to be happier than those in urban environments.

This five day course is designed to immerse you fully in Blue Space with the aim of enhancing your sensory, psychological, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

The agenda involves exploring a range of tools, activities and practices to help you connect more fully with your environment and thus with yourself. It includes the use of ancient labyrinths, creating soundscapes, journaling, art therapy, meditation and psychotherapeutic exercises.

Sea bathing is not included in the course but there will be opportunities for sunrise and/or sunset swimming following in the footsteps of the poet Lord Tennyson.

The course takes place over five days in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the stunning Biosphere coast of the Isle of Wight.

Ideal for building your own personal resilience.
