Description

The Seagas Project based at Queen’s University Marine Lab is currently investigating the applicability of using seaweeds to produce sustainable fuel for the future.

Come along to the auditorium of the McClay Library to hear Dr. Karen Mooney discuss the project’s success in establishing the largest kelp growth system in the UK, the environmental impacts of cultivation, how this technology may be used in years to come, and highlight how public outreach has been a vital part of this research.
