Seagrass meadows are a vital part of our marine environment and provide a wealth of ecosystem services, from capturing carbon to providing vital species habitat. But we’ve lost over 90% of our seagrass meadows in the UK since 1920 and the fragmented bits that are left of these unique underwater environments is threatened.
