Aim of this Event

This teaching session is on searching the Medical Databases to support your Clinical Practice.


Target Audience

This event is for any Primary Care staff in Nottingham or Notts, especially those undertaking academic courses and/or requiring a refresher in searching the medical databases.


Objectives

The session will look at Literature Searching using the Medical Databases. It will cover:

  • Registering for OpenAthens
  • Planning a Literature search
  • Building a search strategy
  • Search techniques
  • Accessing the databases
  • Searching practical
