Seasearch Dive Expedition Manacles Marine Conservation Zone

Join Cornwall Wildlife Trust's Seasearch Team for a weekend of diving from Porthkerris Diving Centre, Cornwall. Explore the amazing Manacles Marine Conservation Zone and help collect biological data, vital for the monitoring and future protection of the area. Expect some incredible diving on one of the UKs most famous rocky reefs, home to Pink Seafans, crawfish, friendly wrasse and a wealth of other species!
The ticket is for 2 days of diving, 2 boat dives per day, and is half the normal charter price. The money you pay goes directly to Porthkerris divers for boat charter (with a small handling charge going to eventbrite).
Please note that for all Seasearch diving with Cornwall Wildlife Trust you must meet the following requirements:
•Be aged 18 or over
•Be a trained diver qualified to the level of BSAC Sports diver, PADI Rescue diver or equivalent
•Have recent experience of cold water diving including a minimum of 20 logged dives, 10 of which should be in the UK and 2 of which should be within the last 6 months.
•Have your own dive gear or able to rent dive gear which must be serviceable and within test date
•Have a current diving medical or self-certification declaration
•Have third party liability diving insurance.
•Be fit on the day and fully able to participate
We reserve the right to refuse participation if you don't meet these requirements. We can easily arrange a refund for you.Priority will be given to those who have completed a Seasearch course.
