About this event

  • Event lasts 9 hours

This is a one day diving expedition, for qualified Seasearch divers. Spaces are very limited (6 people per day ) and to ensure the best results we will be giving priority to experienced seasearchers.

This dive expedition is provided by Fathoms Free who have allowed us the use of their rib and by Luke Bullus who will be our skipper. This is a recreational dive and is not organised by Cornwall Wildlife Trust, all divers participate at their own risk and are expected to have their own insurance.

Luke would like all divers to provide a donation towards costs of fuel for the day - you will be able to do this via bank transfer after the dive. In return we would like each buddy pair to complete a detailed Seasearch form from each dive.

We will do two dives from the Rib-

Target areas to survey are:

  • TO BE CONFIRMED - Maerl Beds?? Unexplored Sites ??

You will need to bring plenty of water and a packed lunch. We will aim to provide a toilet stop between dives but it may be difficult depending on the dive plan which is to be confirmed nearer the date.

You will need to bring all your own equipment, air for two dives, provide evidence of valid insurance, qualifications and recent dive experience and to either provide a medical certificate or fill in a self certification certificate.

Tickets are free

Please note you need to meet Seasearch Cornwall's requirements for minimum qualifications and experience:
