Guy Cuthbert

Guy Cuthbert has been playing music solo and in bands since he was 16 years old. A mainstay of the Saltburn music scene Guy currently performs regularly at Saltburn Folk Club events on his own or with the band Flame Bearer. He enjoys performing both traditional and original material.

Julie Hogg

Julie Hogg is published in many literary journals including Abridged, Black Light Engine Room, Butcher’s Dog, Corrugated Wave, Honest Ulsterman, Irisi, Poethead, Poetry Bus Mag, Proletarian Poetry, Well Versed and Words for the Wild. Featured in anthologies by Ek Zuban, Litmus, Zoomorphic and Seren, her debut pamphlet Majuba Road is available from Vane Women Press.

‘Her voice can be lyrical, startling, staccato and also exquisitely tender, urging us to ‘live like this'.'

Tony Morris

Tony Morris is an ‘Own Brand’ Performer. Unaccompanied or accompanied by harp or lyre or sounding bowl, his traditional-style songs tell stories. His humour is legendary. He is constantly writing new songs.

As an active ‘folkie’ for only about 10 years, Tony is ‘a new kid on the block’. Many of his recorded songs have been played on the Bob Fischer programme on BBC Radio Tees (Bob Fischer introducing him as, “The mighty force that is Tony Morris” and "A charmingly eccentric fellow"). Tony Morris has also appeared on various internet radio stations. His songs can be found on the usual internet platforms for download or streaming. His recent book of songs, Heather On The Moor, quickly sold out. Terry Priestley has referred to him in song (on YouTube) as, ‘The Bard of Whitby Town’. Geoff Lakeman has dubbed him ‘Unique’ and ‘A National Treasure’.
