About this event
Summer!
Welcome to this Summer Wellbeing Workshop. A chance for you to take stock of how you want to make the most of this season. As we move through the year, it is important to periodically stop, pause and ponder and reflect on what you want to grow in your life.
In this session, we will focus on the joys and woes of summer.
In particular if you are working in the people helping fields -
Counsellors
Therapists
Coaches
Consultants
Bodyworkers - Yoga, Pilates, Feldenkrais
Hypnotherapists, Nutritionists you are all very welcome
How do you keep yourself energised in work and play?
Do you find yourself -
Feeling stretched going from one client to the next?
Wishing you had space in your life for other things?.
Pushed for time and cannot stop and relax?
Then this is the workshop for you.
A chance for you to work with an experienced Somatic and Licenced Resilience coach, a chance to work with others but most importantly a chance to reflect and make a plan for yourself.
Sam Jayasuriya is a Leadership Energy Coach. Her aim is for you to take charge of your wellbeing.
Sam is pleased to be joined in this session by Gabriela Alvarez.
Gabriela is Venezuelan by birth with roots in distant horizons like Estonia and Spain. Embracing diversity in her own way as woman, mother, engineer, Body-oriented coach and Qigong teacher, while keeping a curious heart for life continuous teachings.
Gabriela accompanies people on their journey to reconnect with their body and its wisdom, to tap into their life energy and feel vital, access serenity and assertiveness, while approaching life with presence, flexibility and rootedness.
A packed, informative and fun two hours. You will go away with your own personal menu to take you through the Summer season.
Don't let your well-being sit in the hands of others. Take care of it yourself.
Testimonial from the last Spring workshop with Resilience practitioners -
'A very enjoyable workshop. I wasn't sure what to expect, however I found it very refreshing and an opportunity to clear some of my "dead wood" that has accumulated over the winter and see some fresh perspectives/thinking.'
'Excellent session. Great opportunities for discussions in breakout sessions and lots of space for learning and reflection.'
For this session 50% of the online seasonal ticket sales will be donated to GROW. This is Sun & Sky's commitment to the United Nations sustainable development Goal number 4 - Quality Education.
GROW works with schools and communities delivering bespoke programmes in sustainable food growing and outdoor learning.
This is what they do.
Everyone deserves to grow
GROW works with children and young people who experience financial, personal, or social barriers to learning, healthy living, and employment. We give our participants the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make positive choices and changes in their lives and in the world around them.
Our agroecological farm and outdoor learning hub at The Totteridge Academy (TTA), North London, is at the heart of all of our programmes, providing a practical and inspiring resource for everyone who visits.
If you cannot attend this event but like the sound of the work that GROW do, please feel free to buy a donation ticket. All proceeds will go towards this amazing group.
