What is Forest Therapy

Forest Therapy, inspired by Shinrin-Yoku, is a guided nature experience that supports physical & mental wellbeing. Through mindful, sensory immersion, it helps you find calm, clarity, and renewal, offering a peaceful sanctuary for rest, healing, and connection with yourself and the natural world.

Who will be there.

Guided by Georgie. A qualified Forest Therapy Practitioner with a background in NHS mental health and neurodiversity-informed support. Georgie holds a gentle, inclusive space. Come with friends, a family member or solo, everyone is welcome.

What to expect.

Each session includes:
 A guided arrival and sensory meditation
. Then moving at a relaxed pace, you’ll be guided through gentle invitations to notice and engage with the natural world around you. We finish with the Closing Circle, warm drinks and a time to reflect with optional sharing.

What to wear.

Dress for the weather (layers are helpful), and wear comfortable shoes for uneven ground. A waterproof layer and something to sit on can be useful. We continue in all weather unless conditions are unsafe. You don’t need to be outdoorsy, have any special gear or knowledge. Just come as you are.

Where do I park

There is signed parking on arrival, with plenty of space and I will be there to greet you. Please be aware the venue asks us to keep off the grassed area, in case you get stuck. They can tow out but there is an £80 tow out fee (not possible for electric vehicles either).
