Description

Caring from the inside-out

Breckon Hill Community Enterprise/ Innate Health Centre North East are delighted to host their Second Conference on the 25thMay 2018.

The theme of this year’s Conference – Second Chance, Second Nature – is ‘caring’, in its very broadest sense. It is aimed at all of us, as we all care for our loved ones in some way, and also to anyone working in the caring professions.

The Conference will have local, national and international speakers (who will share about their areas of work and their own personal experiences) from the professional and community fields - community development; mental health; schools and education; caring in the community and Lesbian Gay Bi-sexual Transgender. Additionally, the Conference is excited to welcome, its key note speaker, Dr. Dicken Bettinger.

Dicken Bettinger, is an international Three Principles speaker who has over 32 years of experience in helping people in his role as a licensed clinical psychologist. Having gained an understanding of the Three Principles in 1986 (when working with Sydney Banks), Dicken has facilitated, trained and presented, to audiences around the world, and his style of presentation is characteristically warm, inspiring and funny.

You are cordially invited to meet Dicken and the other inspirational speakers at this year’s Conference. Please contact the number below for booking instructions and information. The Conference will offer a unique and special opportunity for local community and workers in the field of ‘care’, to come together to find out more about Caring from a Three Principles perspective and find out how and why this simple understanding delivers real, sustainable and enduring results for anyone who is caring or being cared for.
