Second Hassocks Bat Walk

Local volunteers are being supported by the Lost Woods Project to offer an event to Hassocks residents interested in learning more about our local bat species.

The event is open to all ages and may be an exciting evening for young people and their carers, or anyone curious to learn more about these elusive and iconic creatures. We will meet in front of Proper Coffee at 7pm before heading out to use hand held detectors to pick out the unique echolocation calls of different species and learning interesting bat facts along the way. The walk will be on relatively good terrain, 1.5 miles, sensible footwear and caution of trip hazards at dusk is required. We will end up back at Proper Coffee by 8.30pm

Please note, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
